Chateauneuf-du-Pape rouge 2004
Colour : Bright, red ruby, garnet to edge.
Nose : Developed, soft, gentle fruit aromas. Hint of tobacco and heather. Restrained bouquet with peaceful depth and pure richness. Opens up when aerated.
Palate: Gentle attack, very pure and refined fruit. Fine, supple chocolaty fruit notes. Gentle elegance and refinement and finesse, rather than power. Fresh tannins and good acidity. Gracious finish. Fine potential for the delicately expressed wine.
